Very divisive film
3Bought the steelbook and it is a really nice and clean steelbook with a nice design. The film itself however I don't know if I can recommend it. Whilst the effects are great it spends a bit too much time getting very meta and praising itself for the original trilogy. Then by time it gets to the end it all starts to fall apart very quickly. I don't even know what films I could compare it to to see if people would like it. My advice would be see if you can pick this up in a deal if you're really interested in seeing it.

5A good movie,not fantastic,a bit of a love story, fights not really blowing me away but if you liked the first ones and you have nothing else to do then give it a watch you will not be disappointed ,but they should of stopped at the three

4Solid film which pretty much does what it says on the tin. Good quality special effects and a story line which ties into the original trilogy reasonably well. An entertaining way to spend a couple of hours

Nice cover that’s it
2My thoughts they really didn’t need to make this film. Hollywood just lining there pockets again on a franchise that didn’t need to be touched. The film was predictable and the fight scenes weren’t that great let’s be honest. It’s not the worst film that was made in 2021 but it’s up there. The producer didn’t even want to do it but the studio said they’d make it anyway point proven.

Great film, Great Steel
5I really enjoyed this film, but if you're looking for John Wick 4 or a Matrix 1 remake, this isn't it. Don't expect too many kung-fu fights or big action set pieces. This film is more of a personal journey that speaks to some, but as obvious by some extremely negative reviews, doesn't speak to everyone. As for the steelbook design, it's perfect and I only wish that the other films would have received such beautiful steelbooks to match.

1I got excited about this movie and pre-ordered it as I love the original and then I got to see it and it was dreadful. Another franchise ruined.

The Matrix Resurrections Steelbook
5Loved the film. Really like the art of this steelbook. This alternate poster of Neo & Trinity is slick looking and adding the code in the background makes it look even better. Nicer than the Amazon exclusive that is only using the Red & Blue pill teaser poster. Pre-oredered

Dumpster fire
2Poor lazy artwork for this steelbook which is fitting considering how bad of a film this was. The Matrix is one of my all time favourite movies, the 2nd and 3rd are average at best but this film is a cheap knock off of the original. You know something is terrible when even IGN rates it 4/10. Don't waste your time watching this movie or buying this.
