Black Hawk Down Steelbook Blu-ray
5Black Hawk Down is a great movie. It has a great Sound LPCM makes your room shocking by helicopter with a nice transfer picture but a bad feature than dvd version. But it's okay to me because I love this packaging.

Rangers lead the way!
5Tough gritty modern urban warfare where the USA once again underestimates its opponents with tragic results. A great cast in this epic realistic re-telling of Black Hawk Down (look out for Tom Hardy before his bulky Bane days, and Orlando Bloom too). This really is a film where you think "hmm I've seen him before". The film rightly does not take sides and in the red mist of combat, like Hoot says, "nothing matters but the guy next to you!" Watch this film and one of two things will happen; you will either want to experience close combat, or be on the furthest part of the planet away from it.

Black Hawk Down-Steelbook Edition
5The Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition is a fantastic Steelbook. It looks great and has art on the inside. The extra is the 'making of 6 part feature', and is a must watch. It's even longer than the movie itself! Note that it is missing some true story extras that were on the Deluxe 3 DVD version. The picture quality and sound are excellent. If you want to buy the Blu-ray of Black Hawk Down, get the steelbook as it's a collectors edition.

5Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition is really great work. You have a beautiful cover, plus a great disc. It's one of nicest steelbooks.

Black Hawk Down
5Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition is an excellent Blu-ray. The picture quality is very high, and the extras are good but are missing some extras from the 3 disc DVD special edition. But you do get a fantastic 'making of' feature which is longer than the film itself. The steelbook looks great too.

Epic modern battle
5Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition will always be my all time favorite movie, both in general and as a war movie. The film depicted what happened during military operation launched by US Special Forces to capture several cabinet members of Somali's warlord in Oct 1993. The operation that should have lasted no more than a few hours turned out to be more than 24 hours, and taking a number of casualties due to resistance from the Somalian militia. The cover art and inside art of this steelbook is cool. The disc itself only contains the theatrical version of the movie with the director's commentary and documentary of the film making. It would be great if Sony could include the extended version as well as there are more special features in this release, but for me the steelbook itself is more than enough. If you are a steelbook collector and fan of this movie, then this is definitely for you as well.
