5This is an excellent movie based on the conflict in Somalia back when President Clinton was in charge. I also love the new steelbook edition too.

Black Hawk Down Steelbook Blu Ray with uv
5Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition is an excellent item, and a brilliant film. Watching this is almost like being in the thick of it, and very realistic. All parts played in this are very well acted, and the characters are very believable. I would definitely give this film 5 stars, as it also in lots of ways keeps you on the edge of your seats, and does not glorify war at any level, and shows the bad, with very little good feeling all the way through.

5Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition is great. I'm not really going to review the film other than to say it is a compelling and realistic view of a war incident. It is of course based on a true story, but how accurate it is we'll probably never know. It is certainly not the worst Hollywood take on a real life incident. I'm more giving a review on the Blu-ray itself and the steelbook. Where there is bleakness and gritty realism (there is plenty of both in this film) it becomes all the more starker in HD. The sweat on the brow, the acne on the faces of the young soldiers, the gore etc. are all too vivid. However, if this gets rid of any glamour attached to war, it has done the job. As for the steelbook, it is certainly one of the better looking ones. If you collect steelbooks, you are going to love this one.

Black Hawk Down
5A great movie, a really graphic and detailed description of what the soldiers had to face when their chopper when down in Samalia in the middle of a war zone. Every street, road was over run by rebels and it was very moving seeing what the soldiers had to do to escape, and the loss they suffered. I highly recommend this movie to lovers of great war films. 5 out of 5.

Great steelbook
4I had to buy this Black Hawk Down - Steelbook Edition as I love the film and seeing it in special edition steelbook was enough for me to make the purchase.
