What a cover!
5I've never seen this film but always wanted to. But after seeing the cover to the steelbook I just could resist, this was just one that had to added to the collection.

5An excellent film which deserved an outstanding steelbook. Stunning art on this. Definitely up there as one of my favourite steelbooks now.

Painted beauty
5One of the best this year's steelbooks. I love this kind of artwork where you can see the work done, and not only some photo from movie. Not a big fan of the movie, but definitely a fan of the steelbook itself!

Fifth Element 4K Steel book.
5Excellent steel book. Artwork on front and back looks amazing! The imagery inside looks great. Zavvi Have once again produced another outstanding steel book! Once it was shipped arrived in just a few days. Couldn’t be happier!

The Fifth Element Steelbook Review
5Very happy with my purchase of this. This steelbook looks incredible with an art style that fits the visual style of The Fifth Element perfectly compared to a number of bland previous steelbooks released for this movie. This steelbook is very vibrant and the blu ray is exactly as expected. Great quality with zero issues. Sometimes updated blu ray transfers can have issues here and there in picture quality but this blu ray quality is great. A must have purchase for big fans of Besson's sci-fi classic.

Multipass!
5It doesn't have an original bone in it's body, features unbelievable characters, re-hashes every cliche in the book & the 3rd act descends into farce .... But 23 years on, writer/director Luc Besson's infectious & bonkers sci-fi ride looks & sounds amazing on 4K further cementing StudioCanal as one of the best distributors that make golden oldies look like fresh, current releases. The CGI has aged quite well, Eric Serra's music score is still audio heaven, the sets near pops out of the screen & Jean Paul Gaultier's costume designs fit the OTT tone to perfection. Led by Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman & an awesome debut from Milla Jovovich, the cast play the fast-paced antics with commendable poker faces - even opposite the hyper antics of a scene-stealing Chris Tucker. It's a shame Besson hasn't hit heights like this & 'Leon' as his career has certainly dwindled, but that's the beauty of discs featuring such restorations - you can revisit the good stuff again & have it almost feel like a first viewing. First 'Flash Gordon', now this - bring on 'Total Recall'! :)

5Yet another Classic from Zaavi... Revisiting ‘The Fifth Element’ in 4K is truly amazing; it’s great to watch an old favourite movie restored and remastered to such a high standard! Love the steelbook artwork too! Than-you Zaavi :-D

Nice Presentation - Lackluster Extras
4The PQ of the UHD presentation was as I hoped for. I also liked the design of the steelbook. What I wasn't expecting is a barebones release - neither disc features any extras. That's beyond me for this price and taking in account that the US and German relase - and even the UK release of the Pathé Blu-ray some years ago was full of extras.
