Art in its finest form
5Where to begin with this game, its true to what it says an innovative role playing game of great difficulty but I feel that when you have learned the enemies and the levels you can pass by the first play through with ease but then the difficulty really kicks in because of the new game + which is the same game but an increased difficulty . Every enemy ypu encounter should be a new challenge I remember when I completed the first level and then I went back and replayed it just to understand the AI's moves. After I had done this I felt a sense of achievement and it was only the first level. Now I can pass through the first play through in under 10 hours that might seem like a short game for an RPG but obviously I had spent more then 70+ more hours on a different play through to try and understand the game At first sights the story might seem lacking but you only have to dig deep enough to understand the depth of this storyline it isn't clear you have to search for it, The game play factor is very balanced as well allowing you to build a balanced character in magic or melee. the archery side is a little slow and u cant have a full based ranged character but it doesn't make much of a difference. Yes there are some problems with this game but overall it is a tremendous piece of fun and after every enemy you get a sensation of achievement

Greatest Game?
5Attention: This game may be inappropriate for some gamers due to its tremendous difficulty level! This game is now quite old because it was released 2 years ago in Japan. But does time matter? No. This game is by far the greatest game I have ever played. A unique atmosphere, along with the the challenging gameplay are Demon's Soul's strong points. By playing this outstanding game I realised that up till now, no game has ever been so captivating. Due to the fact that it is that difficult, no enemy should be underestimated. In my opinion, that makes Demon's Souls so brilliant. Every minute one spends on playing this game can be so frustrating and yet so rewarding. A recommendation for every gamer who wants to try out something really challenging!

When "action" fits well with "rpg"
5Videogames players have spent a lot of time discussing about what an "action-rpg" should be. Demon's Souls is a milestone in the entire videogames world, not only in the action-rpg one. In this game "action" means "thinking". The combat system doesn't make you untouchable while striking an attack, for example. You can kill your enemy while he hits (and maybe kills) you. Or maybe the movement of your attack makes you move foward, avoiding in real time an arrow. You must fight and think. Dodge and counterattack. Learn your enemy's qualities and faults, so you can beat him. Thanks to the DS combat system you have and feel the complete control of your character. Every step you take must be well-thinked, every attack must have the right timing. And you die. A lot. And you keep trying. Magic and faith, stealth and dexterity, strenght and endurance. Classic rpg combat styles. Or you can combine them all and create YOUR OWN style. The world of DS is dark and fascinating. A good mix of classical fantasy elements works fine with the new game concepts that make this game just SPECIAL. Do you want to be good? Do you want to be evil? Will you be the Hero of Boletaria? Will you be first candidate for an eternal demonic life? Everything is up to you. You don't just play Demon's Souls, you experience it.

Impressive!
5Once the history gots u, just can t stop playin, the best RPG ever played, dont rate 4 stars 4 its difficulty, hard doesnt mean bad, just mean more hours of diversion. After you finish it, you can replay because its closed areas depending ur bad or good, black phantoms r going to. Make you feel the esence of this game, fantastic, n the best prize in UK!

Most Satisfying Game You'll Play
5Demon's Souls is hard game, its really hard and its like punishing you if you make mistakes. This makes you learn from your mistakes and makes you succesful. Once you learned the game, you'll enjoy the game more. And instead of putting you into some heroes' shoes, this game makes you hero and makes feel like it. Because to accomplish something, you have to do it no matter how hard it is. There is no pity for you, there is no easy way to reach the end, if you are determined, you have to go through it to the end. Once you succeed, you'll feel the best satisfaction you can get from a game. This game was selected Game of the Year in both Gamespot and IGN. You must buy this game! One of the best RPGs of all time!
5For a short review, Demon Souls is beautiful, dark, intense, hard, rewarding and super fun. If you're in to a challenge, or if you're RPG fan, or even if you aren't get this game. One of the best gaming experiences on PS3.

A must have for RPG fans and PS3 owners
5This game is so much fun. Hard, sometimes brutal, but oh so satisfying. So much depth to the game, nice boss fights, great atmopshere and the online mode can keep you entertained for a very long time. One of my favorite games and that's saying something. Get it!

The definition of hardcore!
5Demons Souls is not hard, such statement is misleading. However, in order to survive, you need to be extra careful. Superb visual and a dark compelling atmosphere within an apocalyptic setting. Become a demon's slayer and claim the lives of Demons that plague Boletaria, the northern kingdom destroyed by the arrival of the Old One. Music is scarce but there when needed and so is story. But gameplay count the most! A real-time,quite impressive and action-based deep combat system is there to fill in while RPG element do the rest(levels and upgrades). And without a doubt,it is a game with innovative online modes with a vision way ahead of its time. If you like being called a gamers, consider checking this game out and let it embrace you!

the hardest time of my life! :D
5Demons Souls will make you scream and cry from both, frustration and sucess!! It's one of the hardest games I know but the more you learn to behave the right way in the various situation you can tame the game! :D I got about 280 playhours on this one! My first platin trophy!! played it through 4 times! :) What more do I have to say! It's addicting! Cool online mode!! Get it!!
