Bridesmaids is the side-splittingly funny romantic comedy film that took the box office by storm, and has been coined as the female version of The Hangover.
The film stars Kristen Wiig (Paul, Whip It) as the dishevelled and unhappy Annie, who after losing her dream job, boyfriend, and all her life savings, clings to her childhood friendship with Lillian, played by Maya Rudolph (Grown Ups, 50 First Dates). Following the announcement of Lillian's engagement, Annie is faced with the huge pressure of proving herself not only as the best friend, but as the Maid Of Honour. Annie soon finds herself in a state of competition with Lillian's brand new richer, prettier friend Helen (Rose Byrne: X-Men: First Class, Insidious) who constantly attempts to upstage her.
As the rivalry between the two heats up, hilarity ensues as Annie train wrecks her way through all of her, and Helen's, pre-wedding arrangements for Lillian: from giving the entire bridal party explosive diarrhoea, to getting them all kicked off the plane on the way to Las Vegas.
Get ready for tears of laughter to be streaming down your cheeks... welcome to the hellish world of Bridesmaids. (Cat Emerson)

Bridesmaids 5 Stars
Bridesmaids is one of the best films I have ever seen! It is so funny, I watched it with my family and we all loved it. I thoroughly recommend this film to everyone and not just girls, as I am a guy and really enjoyed it. I will definitely watch this one again!

Grrrrreat. As my friend Tony the Tiger would say.
I absolutely loved Bridesmaids. I'm a man, and I'm not sure if this is classed as blasphemy... But this is so much better than The Hangover. Loved it, gets funnier every time. Its a beauty.

Bridesmaids
My wife wanted Bridesmaids after seeing a clip of it. She was crying with laughter all the way through it. I found it funny, but the humour is definitely aimed towards women. Still, it was an enjoyable watch, similar to Sex and the City but funnier. Recommended if there's nothing else on TV.

Very Enjoyable
Despite the hot pink title and highly girly images this is a film that is very enjoyable for both women and men. In fact, it may even help some men understand their wives and girlfriends better! This is a film that is not only hilarious but also it explores the theme of friendship between women. The main character Annie (played by Kristen Wiig ) is having a terrible time professionally and romantically when she is asked by her best friend to be her bridesmaid. Although delighted at first she soon realises that the group of additional bridesmaids have pretty clear wedding ideas too, and quickly a battle of wills ensues with hilarious consequences. Scenes in the wedding dress shop and the flight to Vegas are particularly funny, even after a second or third viewing . I would highly recommend this film.

Bridesmaids
Kristen Wiig wrote and stars in this brilliantly funny film about one woman’s hellish time trying to organise her best friend’s wedding. Almost nothing is going well in Annie’s life and despite her great intentions every event she attempts to plan unscrambles with hilarious consequences . The wedding dress scene is one of the funniest of the film, and still makes me giggle every time I think about it. If you are after a film to make you (and even your other half- although they may not admit it!) laugh for a couple of hours, this is the one. Highly recommended.

Loved it
I absolutely love this hilarious film. Genuinely laugh out loud funny, and even on second and third viewings it gets funnier. Probably not one to watch with those of a more delicate or serious disposition, but a great rom com for a girly night in with a bottle of fizz!
