Divine Miss Leigh
With arguably one of the greatest and most beautiful British actresses opposite one of this country's finest actors, this film always had an appeal from the very start. It also proves that Vivien Leigh was more than just Scarlett O'Hara. It also shows the versatility of not only her acting, but her beauty as she effortlessly changes from a street girl to a glamourous stage personality in some beautiful gowns in the second half of the film. Charles Laughton is an excellent actor and it shows in this wonderful British film. I truly found this film to be very warm and very enjoyable, with music and some comedy thrown in, great fun and two brilliant actors.
