Must-have title for the 3DS
5Let's face it, on launch, there weren't a lot of great titles for the 3DS console. But the release of games such as Super Mario 3D Land changes everything! This game is everything you'd expect from a Mario/Nintendo title, and more. It's similar yet different enough to classic 2D Mario type gaming, so there's something for both old and new fans alike. The level designs are inventive and fun, with enough challenge offered to more serious gamers. The original eight worlds are supplemented on completion with another 8 worlds that are more challenging. The 3D effects are effective yet not distracting, and there is an in-game option to trigger between a more extreme or moderate 3D effect. Overall, this is a game with lots of replay value, and definitely one of the must-have titles for the 3DS.

Awesome!
5I bought Super Mario 3D Land for my boyfriend and he loves it - and so do I! The graphics are great and the 3D isn't so strong that it hurts my head after a while of playing. The levels are challenging and the story is fun.

5Super Mario 3D Land is definitely one of the best titles on 3DS and absolute must buy for any Mario fan! Its easy for everyone to enjoy but later on can get really hard so even seasoned gamer gets a real challenge!

Super Mario 3D Land
5Super Mario 3D Land is fantastic! You don't get bored of it, as it has another 8 special secret worlds to play, once you finish the main worlds! The game is so much fun to play, no matter how well you're doing, and I'd undoubtedly recommend this game again and again.

Retro memories
5As someone who has played almost every Mario game since I owned a SNES I had to purchase Mario 3D, it is absolutely awesome. The classic Mario sound effects and music, brought back the memories of the legendary games. It has flashes of old games, like the flying gunships to the Flower power fireballs intertwined with the 3D world that is familiar in more recent games like Mario 64 to Galaxies. But the 3D element also incorporates puzzles of perspective unavailable in previous versions. All in all a MUST buy for any Mario fan.

Excellent retro fun
5This game is a great blast from the past, a bit on the short side but its close to having two of the best ever mario games (Mario Bros 3 and Mario Galaxy) on a handheld.

5Great game! Great buy! I just bought my 3DS in December and started buying games for it for Christmas. Super Mario 3D Land is a real gem! It really is no wonder why it received such high scores from the gaming press. I recommend it to kids, young people and older folks as well. Gotta love Mario! :)

4A great addition to the Mario series, and a must have for all 3DS owners. The individual levels are a little short and lacking in the difficulty that many gamers may be looking for, but its still a bundle of fun and will have you coming back to get all of the hidden coins again and again.

5This title for the 3DS really made me realise that the 3DS is worth it, and the 3D technology is much more then a gimmick. Tons of fun for everyone, and is definitely one of the best Mario titles yet.
