Saints Row 2 for PC
This review is as much a warning as it is a review. The reason is that unless you have an extremely powerful processor, something like a Core i7 or similar the driving part of the game is very frustrating. After much research it seems that the game on PC is a port from the XBOX 360 and with this some bugs have developed which to date have not been fixed and are very unlikely to be. Regardless of your graphics and your in game settings the game will lock up constantly while driving. This makes in-game races a lottery. You can be taking a corner in a race or trying to lose the cops - game locks up and next thing you know you are head on in a building through no fault of your own. The better your processor the less you notice the lock ups. These lock-ups make the game a right pain. Other than that the game is decent fun, but my concern is that your in game character is a nasty sort really. So no playing the good guy, you are just plain bad, not a game for kids. Its fun driving around when it doesn't lock up, plenty of stunts and races to do. I would give this game a 3.5 star if there was not technical problems, but the problems make it a 2 or less even. It's unforgivable that the game would be released with such a massive flaw, and then not even fix it.
