Excellent 1st person shooter game

Bodycount

The creators of Bodycount are not really their first attempt in explosive FPS. They must indeed have a Black, a title released in 2006 on PS2 and Xbox and was not in lace. The game does not allow such open doors other than destroying them ... It was certainly not the title of the century but it had a good stress relief for players in search of adrenaline. We might expect to find more or less the same explosive cocktail with Bodycount. The pitch of the latter is in itself promising you play as an agent of a secret organization, promoting peace around the world, destroying everything in its path. In short, it is to wage war on the war by killing all the participants a starting point so absurd that it could be used to make us laugh. Unfortunately, Bodycount takes himself too seriously to be funny ...

Appealing old school game.

First and foremost, this review is extremely personal. As I definitely boycott titles like Call of duty series, Battlefield series, and other foul military/propaganda (decadent western societies products) games, it is not so easy to pick up non ideologically-perverted action titles. Until I met Bodycount. Everything in this game charmed me. From the almost Nintendo 64 vibe, the overall graphic style, the open level design and the very strict (yet engaging) combo system, Bodycount just set something we do not see nowadays in "modern" action games. Of course the story feels minimalistic, the characters are not so developped, but there is something synaesthetic, the feeling with the pad, the way the character moves, all this is blended in an experience I enjoyed so much. Do not hope for beautiful cutscenes, or cutting edge graphics or many locations to visit (this could be a bad point); what is tricky here is that the game may look very generic for the majority of people (but don't the majority of people buy Call of duty ?) As for the multiplayer, it includes deathmatch, team deathmatch and a horde mode (two people struggling against waves of enemies). All in all, you really should have a look at the demo (on PSN or Xbox live) and try to maintain your bodycount combo high (like an arcade game); if so, the experience could be extremely rewarding. I can understand that people may dislike and dismiss it, but if you are looking for maverick and marginal games, you should not miss this tiny yet powerful action title.

Bodycount - Worth Checking Out

After reading all the bad reviews of this game recently i was initially put-off buying a copy. However, when the game dropped to £12 i decided what the heck! Im so glad i did, thoroughly enjoyed this game. Sure its no COD or Batlefield....but is not trying to be. Really recommend you try this out......great value for money!
