Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles' story is based on 'Resident Evil 2' and includes the popular characters, Leon S Kenney and Claire Redfield. Its on-rails style gameplay and active camera will create a more immersive "Chronicles" survival experience. As in the last installment, this is a first-person game with extreme shooting gameplay and interactive pathways. Filling in many of the missing pieces of storyline that were not covered in the original "Umbrella Chronicles," Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will give hardcore fans the chance to relive some of the most memorable moments of the Resident Evil franchise, while allowing new players to take advantage of the intense action-horror the series delivers.
Gamers can choose to take on their enemies with the help of an A.I.-controlled character or enlist the help of a friend to fight via two-player co-op. Adding new dimension and strategy to the arcade-style gameplay in the "Chronicles" experience, the new Evade system will utilise the Wii Remote for a more intense experience when fighting enemies.

This is an excellent game, its fast too which often catches the eye on those certain elements that will want to make you replay those high octane levels. This game has a high sense of achievements with plenty of to do either on your own or on a same screen co-op where every bullet counts. Its choice of character before you play will have you reeling for more action as each character have there own characteristics thrown into the game. The story follows on from before the events on Resident Evil 2 and into some unexplained circumstances evolving around the time period of the game. Its levels of difficulty is to your standards as they can be altered to your skill based level as well as good options to self align your sights. The graphics are a very good standard for a HD television and the music and sfx are very much in tune with the whole Resident Evil franchise I highly recommend this game if you want a challenge to any shoot em up fan either 1 player or 2. The only problem is, Can you survive the Horror?

Controls: You can use the Wii Remote (with or without Nunchuk) or the Wii Zapper. Wi-Fi Rankings available. If you finish the game, you can play a secret chapter and a funny mode :TofuHazard. Where the Zombies are replaced by Oriental Cheese (ToFu). Score : 8
I am new to the gaming scene and i have little to none experience. Easy game to understand (iam not the kind of guy that reads the manual) from the get go. Simple story and different backdrops (jungle, city e.t.c). So far only played it in singelmode with the gun adapter. Works just fine. Once you have got the hang of it it is a entertaining game. Recommend it for beginners as well as experienced players.
These Wii Resi shooters are all superb - this one isn't quite as good as the Umbrella episode but it's still a seriously enjoyable little game. Ideal with the Zapper but fine without. Awesome
