Great Game
5Worth every penny; playable for a countless hours, possible to play with friends, and a great story. Best Zombie RPG I have ever played. I do not like zombie games, but this one is just great.

Dead Island GOTYE PS3
4The game is good. Music is great creating lots of tension. Although the contact between items is not the best and menu system is a bit confusing the game delivers when it comes to violence and gore. Good cut scenes too.

4This is a great game for all FPS, hack n slash, zombie slaying, quest and RPG gamers. Kill as many zombies as you can in this deadly beautiful island! Highly recommended!

Great Game!
4Well this game is pretty awesome. My dream was always to be a survivor in a zombie apocalypse and this game is just is. It is basically a melee based first person game with RPG elements (quests, leveling up and xp and a skill tree for all four characters). What melee based combat means is you find different melee weapons all around you, from paddles at the beach to home knives. You can also create your own weapons from different blue-prints you find and get from missions (kind of like dead rising). There are some guns, but ammo is rare and you don't find many guns, like the amount of humans you will face as enemies. This GOTY edition comes with the regular game, the ripper blue-print which is basically a working chainsaw put on different weapons of your choice, the bloodbath arena, which is like nazi zombies from call of duty (there are about four different arenas of four different difficulties) which includes trophies for you trophy hunters, and the white ryder dlc, which is played from the view point of the antagonist in the game and gives you a look at the plot from his view. The ryder dlc is mainly guns, so you FPS lovers will get to shoot the zombies with your pistols, shotguns and rifles. The map is pretty big, there are a ton of different weapons to find, a lot of different side missions and this game is just fun. The plot is just there, but this game doesn't really need a plot, as it is just killing different kind of zombies (yes there are a few different kinds) for fun and xp. I highly recommend this game if you are just looking for a fun game that has horror elements, shooting, RPG, adventure and melee hack n slash elements in one zombie killing awesome game!

almost flawless
4I think this is one of the best zombie games made for PS3. The only flaw is that the zombies grow level and health at the same rate as you. It would be cool otherwise but it makes a few trophies a pain to get!
