Pure Cyberpunk

4

It's true the light effects are too exaggerated, but if you like cyberpunk classic material, not only games but movies, books and rpgs too, then you'll have a blast with this game both in single and multiplayer game. It's difficult and you'll probably die a lot, but the load times are short and despite maybe a steep learning curve, it's also a stable one, without sudden peaks or valleys

Decent shooter for co-op

4

I bought this title to use the co-op mode as there are relatively few game offers this and I like to play with friends. Well, the game is OK, it has a wide variety of co-op missions, very challenging and offers a development tree for the player. It has about 10-12 co-op missions but that give at least 8-10 hours of activity. The missions are quite challenging, most of them optimised for 4 players, if you are just two of you (like me and my friend) the lowest "normal" difficulty will be hard enough and you need several trial to solve the tasks.

Wish it was longer

4

Campaign is very fast paced. There is never a dull moment. Decent plot penned by the writer Richard Morgan. Some famous faces in a good vocal cast. However it only lasts around 5 hours. Ridiculously short. Especially because with a little more imagination, it could have been a great 15 hour thriller. But it ends as soon as it feels its getting started. Characters are underdeveloped as a result. Still, what a great game!

I hadn't heard much about this game before its release apart from a short clip on the Internet about controlling other peoples minds which looked pretty cool however when I started to play it I got instantly into the game and enjoyed it. It's not often FPS games come out with much different ideas but this game had quite a few things that I hadn't seen in any other game well worth then money.

Syndicate

I'm a long-time gamer who really liked the first Syndicate and, when I heard of the upcoming reboot, I was very excited. My first impression is that EA made a fine job with this reboot, taking care of creating a futuristic world with just the same appeal as the cyberpunk culture asks for and giving the player the right impression to feel part of a gloomy and oligarchic system lead by worldwide powerful syndicates; in addition to that and to the sublime photography, the choice of making an FPS out of the old RTS Syndicate is the best choice for a cross-platform title and gives just the modern feeling needed for both old and new players (remember that you are not looking at some kind of "Syndicate (1993) 2.0", but at a whole new Syndicate experience).
