5A wonderful box set for a classic movie. The extras are great, the mini book is a fun addition. One of the better 80's re-issues. The extras add to the appeal of this collectors set. And good value from Zavvi.

5Wow! What a set, it's such a nice collectors item. Stacked with loads of extras and it looks fantastic in 4k, the colours really pop with the HDR. A classic film that gets a really nice presentation, definitely worth getting for the serious collector or Flash megafan.

5Five stars for this sensational boxset - includes the immortal movie on both 4K and Blu-ray formats plus a mouthwatering selections of extras and collector items. Great service (as usual) from Zavvi.

An impeccable and faithful restoration of a classic cult film.
4It's very clear that a lot of work and dedication went into this restoration. The film has never looked better. Everything is presented with crystal clarity. Sometimes this means warts-and-all, but that's not a bad thing. You're seeing the film faithful to its source media, and sometimes that means a special effect or compositing artefact here and there, newly exposed by the increased visual fidelity. Again, that's not a bad thing. Everything else about the film is as it's always been. If you're a fan of the Queen infused hyper-reality of Flash Gordon, you will love this version. The only Improvement I would make is in the extras. It would have been good to have some more original extras created for this edition. That being said, the packaging and physical bells and whistles for this edition are all excellent for the collector.

Stupendous
5Haven't seen Flash fo r over 35 yrs at the cinema but worth the wait extra soundtrack I could go on well woth the price and delivered on time.

5a blast from beginning to end. You will never have as much fun from a film than this. This special edition box set is one of the best ever produced. The 4k transfer gives even more colour to this colourful movie. Oh and great soundtrack. Would give it an extra star if possible.

Flash Gordon 4k Collectors Edition
5Zavvi have surpassed themselves with this Collectors Edition. I remember seeing this film as a kid in the cinema and loving it. This amazing box set of 5 discs has rekindled my love for the movie tenfold. The 4k transfer is incredible! Although the effects have aged quite a bit, the detail in each exciting scene is to die for. All the extras added are superb and will take me awhile to sort them all in. Thank you Zavvi, my youth has been preserved 🙂
