How To Watch The Harry Potter Movies In Order

The story begins with a young Harry, an average 11-year-old boy who has lived with his nasty and spiteful Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley ever since he was an infant. On his eleventh birthday, he is shocked to discover that his parents were wizards and were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort, that he himself is a wizard, and that he has been accepted as a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! As Harry journeys into the wizarding world for the first time, he discovers that all is not as it may seem. With his new friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, he soon learns that something very valuable is hidden somewhere inside the school and Voldemort is keen to get his hands on it. 

The second instalment sees Harry anxious to return to Hogwarts after a long summer holiday. But a mysterious elf explains to Harry that Hogwarts is no longer safe for him and that he should not return. Nothing can prepare Harry for the trouble ahead, with trees that fight back, flying cars, giant talking spiders and deadly warnings written in blood on the walls of the school. Harry and his friends must discover the cause of these strange goings-on and save their beloved school. 

Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts gets off to a bad start when he learns that notorious serial killer, Sirius Black, has escaped from Azkaban prison and is out to murder him. Hogwarts calls in Dementors to help protect the school against Black, but their presence only causes more trouble for Harry. In his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry is finding it difficult to fit in. With the rising tide of evil in the wizarding world and a new Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher who doesn’t want to teach any spells of defence, Harry decides to teach defensive spells to a group of students in order to protect Hogwarts from the dark forces that wish to corrupt and destroy it. A difficult year for Harry, he must balance his friendships with his growing sense of duty, as he realises that he is destined for a dangerous future battling the dark forces of Voldemort. 

As Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters wreak havoc in both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, Hogwarts is no longer safe for students. Harry suspects that evil is lurking within the walls of Hogwarts, and that somehow his nemesis, Draco Malfoy is behind the bizarre and unpleasant goings-on. Professor Dumbledore recruits Harry to help him uncover the truth behind Voldemort’s powers, but this dangerous quest can only spell disaster. 

With Voldemort’s power only growing stronger, Harry and his friends must venture out of the safety of Hogwarts and finish what Professor Dumbledore started. With dark forces trying to capture Harry at every turn, he and his friends must work quickly to find the source of Voldemort’s powers before it is too late.  This penultimate instalment of the Harry Potter series is darker and more action-packed than ever, and leaves you dying to know what happens next.
