E3 on Zavvi

Anthem

As one of the first announcements prior to E3, Anthem looks set to rival the likes of Destiny and is one we’re really keen to get our hands on. 2019 can’t come soon enough!

Battlefield V

The series is known for epic showdowns of enormous scale and this game promises much of the same. We’re hoping to sink as many hours into this as previous Battlefield games.

Bethesda: Full Conference

Bethesda brought out the big guns this year with a heavy focus on the upcoming Fallout 76, whilst also teasing a new Elder Scrolls game *excited squeals intensify*.

The Elder Scrolls VI Announcement Trailer

Details on this are minimal so far but heck we’re excited already!

Fallout 76

It’s back to the wastelands but this time with your buddies! Get ready to leave vault 76 and head out into the plains of West Virginia in a huge sprawling co-op multiplayer game with a map 4 times bigger than previous fallout games. Release date: November 2018.

DOOM Eternal

A fan favourite and definitely one to be excited for, DOOM Eternal promises high-octane action and plenty of classic DOOM gameplay.

Starfield

Details are minimal on the latest IP from Bethesda but we’re sure it’ll be up there with the likes of Skyrim and Fallout in no time.

Skyrim: Very Special Edition

A tongue-in-cheek retrospect on the multitude of Skyrim releases we’ve been subject to…

Microsoft: Full Conference

Microsoft’s announcements were fairly tame this year, however we did see a lot of fan favourites making a return. A new HALO title along with a new Gears of War is bound to keep fans happy, but will it compete with Sony’s announcements this year?

HALO Infinite

Number 6 in the HALO franchise, Infinite brings back Master Chief for another game of HALO-y goodness!

Cyberpunk 2077

A neon underworld where you take on the problems that come with this new dark future. With CD Projekt  Red at the helm, this should be a good ‘un and has had a LOOOOOONG build-up since it’s first tease back in 2013!

Devil May Cry 5

Need we say any more? The first main franchise game since 2008 is set for a 2019 release.

Just Cause 4

Open world + hours of explosive potential = Just Cause 4 (of course).

Gears of War 5

A cinematic look at the next instalment in the Gears of War franchise. Expect the same heavy-hitting story telling with lots of emotional dialogue and killer game-play. With a 2019 release date we’re still a while away yet.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to Xbox!

With plenty of new Disney worlds to explore in the new game, we can expect to venture into the worlds of Wreck-it-Ralph and Frozen. This is the first outing for the game on Xbox and what a great outing it looks to be!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

More of what we’ve seen before but this looks bang on with what we’ve come to love from the franchise reboot series.

Ubisoft: Full Press Conference

Ubisoft gave the fans what they want with a new look at the previously leaked Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and a new trailer for cult favourite, Beyond Good & Evil 2. Other highlights included a new Just Dance game, Skull & Bones reveal, a new Donkey Kong DLC for Mario + Rabbids, as well as a look at The Division 2.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

A brand new trailer for the game plus the news that Joseph Gorden-Levitt’s ‘HitRECord’ will partner up with the game to allow creatives to contribute art and work for the game (pretty cool, right?)

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The next game in the series takes us to the islands of Greece and looks like Ubisoft are now back to the yearly cycle of Assassin’s releases. This game looks like it’s going to be very similar to Originis, but with the added plus of naval combat that we all loved from Black Flag. The only downside so far is it looks like we’re starting to lose the “assassin” element of “Assassin’s Creed”, in favour of sprawling RPGs. Still, we aren’t complaining!

Skull & Bones

A swashbuckling adventure on the high seas, very similar to the likes of the naval combat featured in Black Flag (a them for Ubisoft this year!). Think, Sea of Thieves but for big boys and girls.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2

It’s time to team up and protect those who survived, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 looks like much of the same from the previous game with an added new twist!

A Donkey Kong DLC for Mario + Rabbids

Just watch the full presentation…we need not say anymore…

Sony: Full Press Conference

Sony delivered the goods yet again, with gameplay reveals for The Last of Us Part 2 and another look at Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding. Still…no Horizon Zero Dawn 2 (sad face).

The Last of Us II

Just watch! Playing as Ellie looks like it’s going to be ridiculously good fun and the game-play so far looks very slick.

Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus would be great to hang out with, right? Well here’s what happens when they do!
